The Óbudai University JNFI Biotech Lab once again gained the opportunity to participate in the international event called the Hungarian Innovative Techshow, which displays the newest and the most exciting concrete results of Hungary’s digital industry.
On the previous event we introduced the software family named DAQit, which provides monitoring of various healthcare and environment parameters for smartphones, as well as alarm messages in panic situations.
The Biotech Lab introduced its 3D body SP (scan/print) project. The group developed a complex, modular structure, rapid prototyping system, which is able to scan an entire human body. It also enables clean-up and 3D correction of the collected dataset via image processing and displaying software, and also enables the FLM technology polymer-based 3D printing of the made models. The integration of the results of these developments into one single service provides significant money and time saving. The potential users of the development results are the health industry, light industry / apparel companies, especially product design and fashion industry.
We also introduced our liquid based FLM printer. The result was very tasty!
During the exhibition many people visited our booth, and we made full-body digital models from 20 of them using the body scanner. The participants may obtain their models in virtual or in printed (3D) form.
By the end of this event we gained lots of experience and new friends.
