RealTAct – Real-time, remote group/team monitoring



The RealTAct Android application is a team monitoring software solution for DAQit mobile data collecting framework. The DAQit software suite consists of multiple client-side applications that are able to cooperate with central data collection servers (HealthVault, DrHealth, etc.). The client-side application, RealTAct allows real-time data collection and transmission to the central server. The system is suited for real-time monitoring of training of local and also remote teams. Transmission of measurements can be made via occasional local WiFi or through mobile network (GSM, 2G, 3G, 4G).
The application is able to receive data from wireless (Bluetooth, WiFi) sensors. Currently, the application is able to cooperate with various health, visual, geolocation and kinetic data collecting sensors. A list of compatible sensor manufacturers is constantly expanding: Polar, Zephyr, Meditech, AnD, GoPro, etc.


RealTAct – Teamsport monitoring


Via this Android application and related server side display, a coach can monitor an entire group of athletes and is able to keep four or more of their different physiological and other parameters under examination. It often happens that the coach or the doctor of the team would like to follow the performance of the athletes in real-time during a training session. The RealTAct application can display information concerning the state of the athletes in real-time with the help of the pulse, respiratory rate, body position, activity level, ECG, blood oxygen level, three-way acceleration and GPS monitors. Apart from the real-time visualization of the collected sensor data, the application provides storage, processing and comparative analysis options for these data.


RealTAct – Remote group monitoring


The aim of the RealTAct project is to develop a real-time group monitoring software, which can effectively monitor a person’s health, physical and mental status and activity remotely (for example, due to the existence of extreme conditions) on a unified interface. The system is capable of monitoring groups in real time, therefore making it ideal for law enforcement organizations to observe complex troop movements during a deployment. The implementation of the protection of personal data storage and encrypted communication ensure the usability of the system for a variety of situations.


DrHealth – Central data acquisition infrastructure


Different sensor data and environmental parameters get to the central server in real-time from the RealTAct client-side data logger via a secure (encrypted) connection. The collected measurement data can also be viewed and downloaded for detailed subsequent analysis. The data of the monitored persons can be viewed in individual mode or in team mode (showing the data of all the members at the same time). The interface allows the visualization of different measurement data on a graph-like display at the same time.
