HP-SEE
The southern European supercomputing infrastructure will be built by the connection of major supercomputers. The main nodes can be found in Turkish, Greek, Hungarian, Bulgarian and Romanian research institutes. With the support of the EU the project was launched in September 2010, with the main aim of integrating the researchers of the 14 countries of this region into a virtual research network and providing them with unified portal-based services. The gUSE development environment and the WS-PGRADE user interface are combined into a single system to form the basis of the bioinformatics portal for the southern European supercomputing infrastructure. This system would contain application development modules and visualization modules for neuroinformatical and bioinformatical (proteomics, genomics, DNA sequence analysis) applications.
